Tunisia is situated in North Africa and consists of a rich history, diverse culture, and a beautiful landscape. Tunisia borders Algeria and Libya and sits on the Mediterranean coastline. Tunis is the capital of this country and is home to multiple UNESCO-listed medina and ancient ruins. Tunisia's landscapes range from golden beaches along the coast to the Atlas Mountains and the vast Sahara Desert in the south. As a country previously occupied by France and an Arabic country, the local languages spoken here are French and Arabic.
